Discover a living and breathing continent where biomes, time, temperature, weather, flora and fauna all communicate with each other to bring the world to life.
In Soulstonia, Summoners are player characters that can be controlled individually or left to their own devices. Each Summoner has their own inventory, bank account, skill levels, equipment, traits, dreams, as well as autopilot behavior derived from those systems.

When starting a new game, the players choose from one of 15 playable species, each with a unique starting skill specialty. Their hairstyle, skin tone, voice tone, and name can also be customized.

Summoners have a mind of their own and will autopilot when you are not controlling them. This allows for simple Summoner behavior management, using utility AI driven by their skill levels and nearby available interactions.

Gather your Summoners together to travel and perform tasks as a group by designating a party leader. This will add all other Summoners to the party as followers immediately, and they'll perform tasks together.

Summoners possess over 20 skills in combat, collection, and crafting. Every character, including enemies, friendly NPCs, Summoners, and Summons, all use the skill system to for combat and behavior.

Traits are positive or negative bonuses that help shape a Summoner’s idle behavior and dreams. Traits include phobias, proclivities, preferences, and circumstances which each possess unique bonuses.

Summoners have individual dreams they wish to fulfill, which generate tasks based on a Summoner’s traits, skills, and equipped items. Fulfilling a Summoner’s dream will provide them with a reward and a new dream.
Soulstonia is full of natural resources, such as wood, Runes, metal ore, gemstones, fish, meat, herbs, fruit, vegetables, and more. There are also tools, armor, weapons, Soulstones, Mounts, enchanted gear, potions, etc. to increase your Summoners' power and capabilities.

Every Summoner has a Toolbelt that can hold all of their tools. Collecting and crafting certain items requires specific tools, such as a pickaxe for Mining, or butter for Cooking.

There are ten magic runes used to cast spells, enchant equipment, and forge Soulstones in Soulstonia, each of which derives from one or two gods as their originator.

Soulstones summon creatures to fight by your side. Each Summoner has three Soulstone slots, so up to three different stacks of Soulstones can be equipped per Summoner.

Equip a mount with offensive and defensive stats like other equipment, and also increase Summoner movement speed. It's also a great way to customize your Summoner.

Melee, Magic, and Ranged weapons have offensive stat bonuses, depending on their weapon class, while Armor has defensive stat bonuses.

All equippable items can possess enchantments. Equipment enchantments can grant one or more bonuses to its wearer, both positive and negative.

Soulstonia is a procedurally generated world with five regions. Each region contains its own biome, quests, and characters, as well as the language, culture, and conflicts.
Lava rivers and fortress-forges shape Soulstonia’s fiercest realm. Magmo warriors, smiths, and arena champions live for strength and glory, while the Western Regent’s ambition threatens to turn old rivalries into open war.

Frozen peaks, icy shores, and pine forests make survival a daily battle. Nordik clans prize oaths, fire, and craftsmanship, sending you to rebuild settlements, hunt colossal beasts, and settle old blood feuds.

Dense rainforest surrounds farms, markets, and vine-choked ruins. Jungala-speaking fishers, cooks, farmers, thieves, and temple keepers compete over the jungle’s riches as wildlife, corruption, and rival settlements close in.

Green fields, busy villages, and Bluestone Keep make the Grasslands the heart of Soulstonia’. Farmers, smiths, nobles, and merchants pull you into royal feasts, unpaid debts, forge work, and battles against Western raiders.

Sunburnt dunes hide oases, tombs, and ancient rune temples. Sandstonian mystics and caravan folk live by magic, faith, and scarce water while rival cults awaken powers best left buried.
There are numerous villages per region, which each contain a bank, merchant, market stall, friendly NPCs, and crafting facilities. Roads connect the villages of Soulstonia, ensuring you're never completely lost when wandering in the woods.
There is one skilling guild in each region, which is a place that requires a certain skill mastery to access but provides a useful concentration of training methods in one place:
Grasslands: Mining/Smithing/Crafting Guild
Desert: Magic/Runecarving/Summoning Guild
Jungle: Fishing/Farming/Cooking/Thieving Guild
North: Woodcutting/Construction/Firemaking Guild
Volcano: Attack/Strength/Defense/Range Guild
Points of Interest are procedurally generated locations across Soulstonia that each possess an archetype and category to give exploration a clear purpose: to find resources, services, threats, and world-state problems that can be solved, exploited, upgraded, or left to fester, with consequences.
They fill the world with novel and exciting moments from four different categories:
Resources & Production (Resources, Worksites, Habitats)
Social & Navigation (Landmarks, Teleports, Trade)
Combat & Hunts (Threats, Guarded Loot)
World State & Escalation (Habitats, Threats)
Littered across Soulstonia are a number of houses, huts, quarries, and other sorts of locations that have quest givers. These neighborhoods of locations are essential to completing quests and learning about the story and lore of the world.

Unique languages are spoken in each region of Soulstonia. Summoners learn words in each language by reading books, revealing words they’ve learned in English instead of their native tongue when spoken by others.
Soulstonian is spoken in the Grasslands, Sandstonian in the Desert, Nordik in the North, Jungala in the Jungle, and Magmo in the Volcanic West.
